When I reached school early in this morning Encik Osman was the guard on duty. He was actually on night duty and was waiting for the two guards for the morning shift to take take over. He has been working as a security personnel for a year and a half here. He retired from the Customs Department about five years ago and has since worked for four security companies.
He has 6 children, 2 sons and 4 daughters. The older three are working in Kuala Lumpur, one has just completed the studies and two are still studying in schools His wife stays at home and looks after the family.
During his free time he does social work. He also likes gardening and is active in sports. He likes playing badminton, hockey and ping pong.
He plans on going for the Hajj once all his children have completed his studies.
