HARI RAYA GATHERING

I was invited to a Hari Raya gathering at Cikgu Rosli and Puan Mashita's house this evening. Their guests started arriving at 8.30 p.m. I reached at 8.45 p.m. as somehow I had lost my way in the dark. I usually visit the couple during the day time.

When I arrived the host and hostess were on hand to greet me. I could see that a few of the lady teachers had already arrived and were sitting on the sofa situated on the upper level of their living room. They were watching the mentor programme on telly.

Puan Mashita told me that this was a small gathering as she was busy with her doctoral studies and her husband also had a lot of work to see to in school. They would have a bigger one another time to cater to all the teachers of the school next time.

Anyway, the food served was delicious and the host and hostess were most gracious and hospitable. Puan Mashita gave some of her guests a tour around her beautiful house.
