ENCIK MOHD SULAIMI BIN MD ISLAM

Cikgu Sulaimi is the senior teacher for Science and Humanities in this school. He is actually a Bahasa Melayu major but is now teaching history. He has been teaching for 28 years (since 1979). He obtained his teaching certificate at Maktab Perguruan Bahasa which was later to become the Language Institute. Then he continued his studies at Universiti Pertanian Malaysia and obtained an honours degree in Bahasa Melayu and Malay Literature. He was transferred to our school on 1st May, 1996.
He is happily married to Puan Nor Asiyah bt Abdul Razak, a homemaker. They have an eleven year old son, Amirul.
During his free time, Cikgu Sulaimi indulges in his favourite hobby, that is, fishing. He loves fishing and everybody in school knows about it. Gardening is his other hobby. He likes to plant fruit trees.
He hopes to venture into the food business when he retires. He likes to cook to earn money and setting up a restaurant is what he has in mind. According to Cikgu Sulaimi, there is just a few more years before he retires and he is seriously thinking of putting his plan into action. He is not one to just sit around after he leaves the service.
