VERY BORED

The three pictures above show the bored faces of the teachers and students who were waiting for our guests from the Shah Alam Polytechnic to arrive. I was informed that they would be here by 9.00 p.m. for dinner and so I reached the school dining hall at around 9.50 p.m. The other teachers and students were already there waiting. I was told they had been waiting since half past eight. Well, we waited and waited and waited but there was no sign of the bus ferrying them. The boys from the kompang group were really hungry and so were the girls as they told me that they had not had dinner yet. I finally decided not to wait when the time showed 10.25 p.m. on my watch as I had another three more packets of Form Four English language papers to finish marking. All the way to my house in Sitiawan, I did not pass any bus that looked remotely like the Polytechnic bus. Hopefully, the guests arrive by 11.00 p.m. If not the poor students and teachers who had not had their dinner would be famished.
