ASSEMBLY IN ENGLISH

This is the third week of January which means that Friday assembly was conducted in English. The teacher-in-charge was Cik Irma Suriani bt Mior Ri. I am happy to say that all the programmes today were successfully carried out in English. Even our senior assistant for co-curricular activities, Encik Ismail Mokhtar, took great pains and effort to deliver his speech in English. Even our principal, Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim, briefed the teachers in English after the assembly was over. All that was done is really commendable. To me it does not matter if one is very eloquent or ones command of the language is excellent, what matters most if one is willing to try, grammar mistakes, wrong pronunciation and all. Congratulations to all those who were involved with today's assembly. You have made my day!!!
