CHECKING STOCK

From 3.30 until 5.30 this afternoon the librarians started to check the stock in the library after being taught how to do so by Ustazah Roslina and Miss Cheah. They will be doing so until all the books have been checked to see how many books there are and how many books have been lost or damaged. Hopefully, the girls will be able to complete the job by the end of next week, so that borrowing of books can begin during the third week of February. At the same time they also check the classification numbers to ensure that the books are correctly classified. Some of the girls even volunteered to come and check the stock during recess time and also if they had some free time. Now I am really impressed.

Meanwhile, the boys helped Ustazah Roslina to rearrange the racks as there were more books than racks for certain classes, example Science, and not enough for books in the Philosophy class.

The first picture shows Ustazah with her youngest daughter. Her eldest son also came along. He was a good boy and sat quietly on the settee reading a magazine while his mum was busy instructing the students. See how dedicated a teacher she is.
