CLEANING

There is not much news to report today. I have been busy in the library the whole day doing the stock entry and housekeeping. As Puan Asiah is on leave today, I had to be in the library to make sure that the students, teachers and staff can make use of it.

Actually, I am not too satisfied with the cleaning service and as is obvious in the pictures above, I took it upon myself to sweep the floor. For your information, I have been doing so since last Thursday. One of the librarians, Salleh, helped me to empty the wastebaskets.

Anyway, I had a word with the cleaning ladies in the afternoon and three of them came and did a thorough sweep of the place and also helped me to clean the store. I have to be very strict and particular where cleanliness and tidiness is concerned as the library is one of the most public places in the school where visitors frequent any time of the day. I have made an appointment with the supervisor of the cleaning company and will discuss a suitable schedule to make sure the library is clean and tidy all the time.
