ENGLISH LANGUAGE PAPERS 1 AND 2

The Form 5 students sat for both the 1119 English Language Papers this morning. A few of the students told me that Paper 1 was rather tough. I don't think so as I set the paper according to SPM specifications. However, I was rather worried for my students in 5JDI and 5MRTV. Their English language proficiency is very, very low. Unfortunately, they only have 2 periods of English language class a week since they are enrolled in the SKM course. As their language teacher, I feel really guilty as I have not done much to help them given the time constraints and my present workload. If I could, I would want to give them extra classes to at least make them able to converse in the language and to have better comprehension skills. I went back to the workshops to see how they were doing when the English Language Paper 1 was on in the morning.
