HOT HOUSE
If you have been into the library recently, you'd notice that even with the air conditioning on it is still warm inside. This afternoon, our technician, Encik Shukri called the people from the air conditioning company to come and have a look but it was rather useless as the man insisted that the library was too big and also the glass panelling made it trap the hot air.
I really cannot accept this explanation as both Puan Asiah and I recalled that the old air-conditioning units that we had in the library were able to make the place cool. I think that was before I left to study for my masters degree in 2003. My question is what is the use of having four air-conditioning units when the students and teachers who use this place cannot enjoy some cool air? With the hot weather now, it is even worse if a class of 30 students is using the place.
