FAREWELL LOGA

I am sure that many of you have heard or read the news about the demise of Loganathan Arumugam of the Alleycats who died of lung cancer on 4th June, 2007. Many of the students and even the younger teachers might not know who he was but their parents and older teachers would certainly know. I was not a fan as I was more a fan of Cantopop singers like Samuel Hui and Alan Tam but nonetheless I knew who he was.

I also actually met him in person and had a picture taken with him 14 years ago. All the members of Alleycat were very friendly and obliging. The picture above was taken on board one of the Air Lanka planes. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pic I took with Loga instead I have one with his brother, David. I was in transit from London to Malaysia for the summer holidays and the Alleycats had done a concert in India. The picture was taken in 1994 when I did my first degree in England. So you get to see a picture of a much younger Miss Cheah. Any difference?
