Kalanchoe pinnata
This plant is commonly found in many gardens in Malaysia. In Bahasa Melayu it is called setawar or mother of a thousand plants. It is a rather unique plant as its roots can grow without other mediums except air. It is easily grown and is sometimes considered a weed. Below is more information about this plant.

Medicinal Functions:
  1. Anti-inflammatory, hemostatic; reduces swelling, promotes healing,
  2. Clears heat and toxin, clears heat and cools the blood, invigorates blood,
  3. Used for digestive purposes. In China is it a cure when one vomits blood.
  4. Used to treat strains, sprains, bruises, swellings (Mash leaves and apply externally to lesion).
