LIBRARY ACTIVITIES FOR 22 JUNE 2007

As usual the library is full of students and teachers and I am really glad as my objective of making it a frequently used place is achieved. It is my personal belief that the facilities provided by the school should be used to the maximum as it is a crying shame to have something and not use it.

Teachers who want to use it to teach or to carry out activities just need to see either Puan Asiah or I to make a booking. We now have ASTRO installed and the students can watch the educational programmes that are available.

Today, three teachers booked it to teach their classes. As usual students would come during recess time to borrow or return books and to read the newspapers. Of course, I had students coming to see me to download the literature notes on "The Pearl" and also those who needed to see me about other things. My librarians were also busy arranging the books on the shelves this morning. After school, some of the librarians would be coming to do the lettering for the Herb Exhibition. Yesterday and the day before, the library was used for the 5oth Merdeka Poster Competition.
