HELPFUL FIREFIGHTERS

When I went to the fire station on Saturday, I saw that there were a lot of spider lilies (bunga bakung) planted near their fence. Yes!!!! That particular plant was what Puan Idayati and I were looking for. So I asked the nice officers there and they said that I could have some. So this morning I got Puan Idayati to go with me to the Seri Manjung fire station to get the plants. I had brought along a spade and hoe. Luckily one of the fire fighters, Encik Salahuddin, was kind enough to help us unearth the plant. It was hard work and thank goodness he helped us. Later another fire fighter, Encik Aziz, also came and helped. Heh! Heh! We now have a few plants for the Herb Garden compliments of the fire department. Maybe we should invite them to our herb exhibition at the end of this month.
