LAUNCH OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE CARNIVAL 2007

This morning also saw the launch of the English Language Carnival by our principal, Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim. Many activities have been planned for the carnival which will be from 6 to 10 August, 2007. Some of the activities that have been planned are Spelling Bee, Scrabble Competition, KL Tower, Wrod Puzzle and Essay Writing Competition.

In her speech, the principal specially read out the poem that was printed on the pamphlet for the opening ceremony. She took the pains to highlight the mesage contained in it. I would like to reproduce the uplifting thoughts below:

You can achieve!

You have the ability

to achieve what you

seek for - within you

is every potential

you can imagine.

Never be afraid

to walk off the

accepted path and

follow your heart.

Obstacles may

stand in your way.

Never quit until

you achieve.

Be strong and

always believe

that only by

challenging yourself

to the impossible,

can you know

how much

you can achieve!
