SINGING MESSENGER FROM ACA
Our invited speaker for today's staff development programe was Senior Assistant Superintendant Mohd Radzi bin Omar from Bahagian Pendidikan Masyarakat, Anti Corruption Agency Headquarters. Radzi BPR or "Abah" as he is fondly referred to uses an interesting and refreshing approach to educate people about corruption. This guitar-strumming, message-singing, cherubic-faced motivational speaker believes that the way to teach people about corruption is not to bore them to death. During his talk he mentioned that he had been to a lot of lectures and talks, and observed that a lot of people can give talks but few can really hold the attention of the audience throughout. He therefore came up with the novel approach of incorporating music into his talks to pep up the anti corruption message that he is trying to get through to the public. True to his words, the two sessions that he conducted this morning were very entertaining and those present were able to listen to his melodious voice. Besides Malaysia, he has given talks in Brunei and Hong Kong.
