HAPPY MERDEKA EVERYONE!!!

This year's Merdeka celebrations is extra special to me as my mum's Chinese birthday, the 19th day of the 7th lunar month, fell on this grand day. For your information, my mum always follows the Chinese calendar when celebrating her birthday. Me? I celebrate my birthday based on both the Gregorian and Lunar calendar. Heh! Heh!

Actually, my Aunt Linda and I made sure that the entire Merdeka weekend was a special one. Besides celebrating my mum's birthday, we also went shopping and also looked at the lovely decorations that were put up. Of course, we also ate out. As a matter of fact, we had lunch at Kenny Roger's today and I just have to share the pictures I took of the lovely bunga raya decorations that were put up at Jusco. I wonder what will happen to the decorations after the celebrations. Would they mind donating them to the STESMA library?
