PICKLING MANGOES AGAIN

Here we go pickling mangoes again. This time around Cikgu Zaki and his students couldn't resist the lovely mangoes that were growing so abundantly outside the JDI workshop. It is a waste to let the fruit just fall on to the ground and then rot. So, when the girls were having a break from classes, they started peeling the mangoes. I heard that they will continue with this later in the afternoon when school is over. This time around Cikgu Zaki is experimenting with using ice-cream soda to do the pickling. I am waiting to taste the outcome of using soda for pickling. And yes, Cikgu Ishak is always on hand to help take photographs. When he is around, you will get to see me in the photos.
