34 DAYS MORE

Yup! From tomorrow onwards, it will be only 34 more days until the start of the SPM examinations. Hopefully, my students who will be sitting for this examination will also try to do so revision during the more than one week Hari Raya break. Of course, they must join in the festivities during the first few days but after that please, please, please do some studying.

My nephew, Jeremy, will also be sitting for the SPM examination this year. He was rather worried about his English Literature paper and came and discussed the literature questions with me. As he was the only candidate sitting for this paper in his school, SMK Anderson, he did not have anyone else to talk with and so he came and discussed a few of the poems with me. I too was not sure about the syllabus as our school too does not offer the English Literature paper to our students. The only literature that we teach is the literature component in the 1119 paper.
