WRONG LADY

I received an email from a Puan Sharifah Mastura who had visited this blog. She wrote in to enquire about whether our Puan Hajjah Zamrudah Ismail was her classmate in SM Sains Pulau Pinang. The Zamrudah Ismail that she knew was in the same Form 1 class with her in the year 1977.

As I only opened my mailbox at 1.30 a.m. last night, I did not call Puan Zamrudah to ask her but rest assured that the first thing I did this morning was to get hold of her to find out if she was the one.

Unfortunately, our Puan Hajjah Zamrudah was not the lady being sought by the visitor to this blog. According to her, she never studied in Penang and was in a vocational stream all along. Her early secondary education was at SMK Puteri in Ipoh.
