ENCIK MOHD. LOTPI BIN RAZALI

I finally managed to interview Ustaz Lotpi. He is a busy man as he is the senior assistant for student affairs in this school. Besides attending meetings and doing administrative work, his normal daily schedule involves seeing a lot of students and also parents.
Encik Mohd. Lotpi bin Razali was born in Batu Kurau, Perak. He is the third of five boys in his family.
He had his early education in S.K. Jelai in Batu Kurau which was followed by three years in Sekolah Izzuddin Shah in Ipoh. When he entered secondary school, he was enrolled at Kolej Islam, Klang. He later continued his upper secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Agama Seremban. Ustaz Lotpi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Studies from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Masters of Education in Management from University Utara Malaysia.
Our senior assistant is a sportsman and actively participates in many of the games and activities in the school. He particularly likes football and was a school player during his school days. He also represented his school in sepak takraw. He was also very active in sports during his university days, he played for his faculty. Before I forget, Ustaz Lotpi can also bowl. He likes to go bowling during his free time. Besides outdoor activities, he also enjoys watching sports on television and documentaries on animals.

Ustaz Lotpi is happily married to Puan Baizura Abu Bakar who teaches in Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Manjung. They have three children aged 12, 10 and 8. He and his wife are expecting their fourth child which is due in two weeks' time. He tells me that he met his wife during his first posting. At that time, she was a temporary teacher in the school that he was posted to.
If you look at the above photograph of Ustaz Lotpi, you will be able to see that he is a very immaculate dresser. His clothes are well co-ordinated and he is always neat and smartly attired. Honestly, for all the years I have known him, I have never seen Ustaz Lotpi dressed untidily or shabbily. He tells me that he acquired his sharp dress sense during his days as a member of the Reserve Unit in University. Before that, he used to be very casual and rugged.
On his future plans, he says that he plans to perform the Hajj with his wife. When he retires, he hopes to do community service.
