THOUGHT PROVOKING POEM...This poem, written by an African kid, was nominated Best Poem for 2005:
When I born, I black.
When I grow up, I black.
When I go in sun, I black.
When I cold, I black.
When I scared, I black.
When I sick, I black.
And when I die, I still black.
You white folks...When you born, you pink.
When you grow up, you white.
When you go in sun, you red.
When you cold, you blue.
When you scared, you yellow.
When you sick, you green.
When you bruised, you purple.
And when you die, you gray.
So who YOU callin' C O L O R E D ??

Li-na,
Thanks for sharing that poem, I have never encountered it before. Hoping you will have a productive and enjoyable week ahead.
Marissa,
I read your letter of appeal to Bi and salute you for being so sensitive to the needs of another human being. Shows what a caring and considerate person you are to inform him of the practices of your countrymen. I am sure if he comes to Malaysia, he might also need to adjust culturally. Know something, there are some ladies from Jihun's country named Li Na. Interesting, isn't it?
Li Na
