ENCIK SAIFUL BAHRI BIN MAT SILLAH

You might have seen Encik Saiful's photo appearing in several of the previous blogs. Now let me introduce you to the man who is holding two very important posts in the school. Besides heading the internal examinations division of the school, Encik Saiful is also the chairman of the teachers and staff association. So, he oversees examination matters as well as the activities for the teachers and staff. Heavy though his workload is but he still finds time to smile whenever I see him. Also, he is a patient and even tempered person. So even if under a lot of stress he will keep calm.
Encik Saiful was born in Rungkop in Bagan Datoh. He had his early education at both the primary and secondary schools of Sungai Sumun. He then continued his education at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia obtaining a diploma in electrical engineering. He completed his first degree at UTM in Skudai in 1997, majoring in technical education. At present he is reading for his masters degree in curriculum management at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris as a part-time student.
The first school he was posted to was Polytechnic Ungku Omar in Ipoh in 1988. He was re-posted to S.M. Teknik Bintulu in Sarawak after completing his first degree in 1999. He reported for duty here in the year 2003.
Encik Saiful Bahri is happily married to one of the teachers in our school, Puan Idayati. They met while he was at Polytechnic Ungku Omar. According to him, she was a temporary lecturer then. I am sure he must have fallen in love at first sight with her as she is very pretty. They have three children, Mirz 'al (11 years), Nurul Husna (7 years) and Muhammad Ammar (2 years).
He is a sports enthusiast and during his free time he likes reading novels.
