!!!ANGRY REACTION!!!

Early this morning, readers of Utusan Malaysia would have been shocked when they looked at the front page picture which is reproduced here. The report tells about the corpse of the baby boy who was found lying on the grass at Flat Lobak in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan last night. Below is a part of the newspaper report taken from utusan online.

Bayi siapakah ini? Kalau mereka benar-benar manusia, bayi yang cukup sempurna sifatnya ini tidak akan dibuang seperti ini.
Siapa yang melihat gambar bayi ini pasti akan berlinang air mata. Insan yang baru bernafas untuk hidup dinafikan haknya - mungkin oleh ibu yang melahirkannya sendiri.

I am disgusted, angry, upset and saddened by what I saw. When we see an injured animal we would feel very sad, what more a human baby? How can there be such an irresponsible and cruel mother? From the report, this is not an isolated case. There have been reports of many other abandoned babies. If they don't want the babies, why can't they give them to people who are childless and would give them love. If not leave the baby outside the STESMA library or my house. My students and I would be more than willing to care for it temporarily and then send it to the authorities to give the baby a better home. Aiyah! This is really very bad.

I noted the reactions of the teachers, students and staff who came and read the papers this morning. Everyone was very disgusted and angry with what they saw and read. Some of the librarians wanted to have the mother imprisoned or punished if she is found. Puan Asiah the library assistant wanted to give the silly girl a tight slap for her irresponsible action.
