PS - THE CAT

Remember the article about the injured cat that I published yesterday? Well, it is still alive this afternoon when I went to the library. This time around I remembered to bring milk for it but it only took a few sips of the milk that my librarian fed it. I later fed it wafer biscuits but it also took a few bites only. Its internal injuries must be very bad and that is why it has lost its appetite. My students tell me that it may be dying. It is really sad, isn't it?

I was told by my student that the cat used to belong to one of the school cleaners whose service has been terminated. It seems that she brought the cat from her house and abandoned it here. Maybe, she saw that it was in such a bad state and just let it die here. How cruel!

Well, if you read this, please try and feed this little cat if you see it or pat it. It may be sick and dying but it does need some attention. I am quite certain as an hour after I fed it, the cat came into the library and rested near my feet while I was at the computer. Since it is loitering near the library, herb garden and computer lab these few days, I have decided to name it PS which is short for Pusat Sumber.
