February 14 is Valentine's Day. On this traditional day lovers in certain cultures let each other know about their love by sending Valentine's cards. This was originally a Christian festival but nowadays is celebrated by many people around the world. However, many Muslims do not celebrate this day because of its religious association.
On this day gifts and cards are given to loved ones. And the type of gifts given are getting more sophisticated in this day and age. However, a perennial favourite among ladies must definitely be roses. I am sure any lady would be very happy and delighted to receive flowers, especially roses, from a loved one. I know, I would.
