VISIT FROM PUAN KAMARIAH AND FAMILY

My mother, Aunt Linda and I were very happy when Puan Kamariah Sulaiman, her husband, Encik Khairi and their five children visited us in Ipoh during the 7th day of the Chinese New Year. For your information, the 7th day is known as Man's birthday. According to Chinese beliefs, it is on this day that man was created after the earth and other animals were created from the first to sixth day. In Malaysia, the Chinese will eat the yee sang to celebrate this day. There was no yee sang in my house that day and I served cakes instead.

Both my mum and Aunt Linda says that Puan Kamariah is beautiful and youthful looking and her children are very well-mannered and lovable. Of course, they were delighted to have guests and kept asking if more of my friends or students would be coming. Cikgu Ishak Salasa said that he might drop by with some of the OUM teachers after their Saturday lectures if I called him to say that I had reached home early after Larian STESMA. Unfortunately, I fell asleep on the computer table and only woke up at around 3.30p.m. I reached Ipoh at 6.30 p.m.
