VERY RUDE STUDENTS!!!
I am really disappointed at how rude two of the students, who left messages in the STESMA forever chatterbox, are. They addressed me as Cheah Li Na. If they try calling their uncles, aunts, elders or Malay teachers using their full names without Encik, Puan or Cik - I am sure they will be scolded and called "KURANG AJAR". This is the same for someone who is Chinese.

It is especially rude to address a Chinese person using his or her full name even if the person is a teacher or an adult without the Mr., Mrs, Master or Miss in front of the name. It means you want to fight with the person or are very angry with him/her. Now what more a Form 4 or 5 student? The two students who addressed themselves by Dak Form 4 '07 and Chaiit did just that. After this, I hope these two students will come and see me personally to apologise.
This has not happened before with former students of STESMA and the Form 5 students who wrote in. They have been very polite and either addressed me as Miss Cheah or teacher. Even our principal and senior assistant address me as Miss Cheah or Cikgu Cheah. Hopefully, after this episode, I hope that everyone in this school should show some respect and courtesy when addressing me and Miss Ng See Yee.
