ADOPTIVE SCHOOL PROJECT
On 19th April, our principal, Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim attended the launching ceremony for the adoption school project between SMT and SK schools. The ceremony was held at Dewan Serbaguna, Aras 9 Blok E 12 Parcel E, Ministry of Education in Putrajaya. The project was officially launched by Dato Dr. Haji Ahmad bin Sipon, the Director General Education of Malaysia.
Under this project all the 90 technical schools in Malaysia act as parent school to a national type primary school (Sekolah Kebangsaan - SK) in their area. Our adoptive primary school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Lekir. The first picture shows the adoption certificate between our school and SK Lekir. The third picture shows Puan Siti Arfah presenting a souvenir to the headmistress of SK Lekir, Puan Hajah Che Puteh bt Hussin.
Puan Siti Arfah will be setting up a committee especially for this project which is all about helping the 53 Year Six students in this primary school. So look out for all our little foster brothers and sisters who will soon be visiting us.
