ORAL PRACTICE

I am really worried for my SKM students who will be sitting for their Oral Examination somewhere in the middle of the year. They have registered as private candidates and this means that they will be tested by external examiners. As these students of mine are very weak in English, I have to really drill them from now. Visitors to the library this morning would hear me shouting "next" every five minutes or so as I was giving my students a feel of how it was to enter the examination room and also practise the social courtesies needed. Next time, I will get a bell and ring it to make the situation more authentic.
