SOLAR CAR COMPETITION FINALS

The finals of the solar car competition for our school was held at the tennis court this morning. The competition started at around 11.30 a.m. Encik Mokhtar, Encik Sabri and Puan Idayati were the teachers in-charge of the competition. The senior teacher for technical and vocational studies, Puan Salasiah Tak, had invited me to the event yesterday.

There were 25 teams taking part and I could see solar cars of different designs being placed on the tennis court. Some of the cars could move and some wouldn't even budge. Not all the cars that could move could move fast. Some just crawled. However, I saw that there were a few that were quite fast. The winners of the competition will be announced tomorrow during assembly and they will represent our school in the district competition.
