VISITORS TO LIBRARY

This morning also saw two of the officers from the inspectorate paying visits to the library. I was not in school when Tuan Haji Md Tah bin Talib stopped by at the library when he was taken on a tour of the school by Cikgu Ismail Mokhtar. Puan Asiah who was on hand to welcome him said that he snapped quite a few photographs of the place.

When I came back from SMK Ayer Tawar after the finals of the Parliamentary Debate ended, I went to snap pictures of our visitors who were in the Quality Room. I got the opportunity to talk with YM Raja Hamizah and invited her to the library to have a look at the preparations for the Traditional Malay Exhibition. I think she was rather impressed with what she saw and also gave a lot of helpful comments for future exhibitions. She had suggested on having an exhibition showcasing the weddings of the Malays, Chinese and Indians to promote better cultural understanding and integration. Maybe, this might be done once the College Community moves back to Teluk Intan and the library is moved into the part of the building that they are occupying. Then there will be more room for the library committee and I to use.
