ENCIK ALWI BIN ALI

You must be wondering who on earth is Alwi bin Ali and why is he pictured next to our principal, Puan Siti Arfah. Well, Encik Alwi happens to be one of the students in the first batch of students she taught at SMK Dato Mahmud Paduka Raja in Tanah Merah, Kelantan when he was in Form 5. The year was 1979 and it was Puan Siti Arfah's first posting after she graduated from university. Encik Alwi is now the senior assistant at Sekolah Menengah Teknik Bachok, Kelantan. He met up with his former teacher when they both attended the national level Technical School Games in Kelantan recently.
