DAY ONE: HERB EXHIBITION

After our principal had officially launched the exhibition, the teachers and students came and visited during their free time. After looking at the exhibits in the library, they also went out to the Taman Hijau to look at the vegetables and herbs planted there. Some of the librarians on duty and the teachers who came earlier were treated to the Nasi Lemuni and Laksa specially prepared by Pn Asiah Sungep and Puan Kamariah Sulaiman. One of the last teachers to visit the exhibition was Cik Siti Mariam. Cik Siti Mariam also handed me her contribution for the Jamuan Penutup. Besides her, Puan Siti Kamariah and Cikgu Hakim also came to give their contributions. Wow! I am sure that we will have quite a grand feast during the closing ceremony as more and more teachers come forward to contribute in either cash or kind. For the opening ceremony, Puan Siti Arfah sponsored the eggs for the Tea Eggs, Puan Kamariah the Assam Laksa, Puan Asiah the kuih and Cik Mazlina the drinks. The watermelons were sponsored by one of the school contractors.
