HERBAL HUNT
One of my current preoccupations in the evening is to look for herbs around the school area and also the neighbouring housing estates. Today is no different. I went to Puan Norriah, our hostel supervisor's house compound to look for the lemuni plant so that I could photograph it. The one we have in the herb garden is very small as it was recently planted. Unfortunately, the plant was not there any more. Finally, I went to Puan Asiah's house and got to take pictures of the lemuni plant as well as other plants in her compound.
She is pictured above with her eldest son, Daniel. She tells me that he was the one who planted all the herbs. Some of the herbs I could identify but some I just knew they were herbs. I will just take the photographs and show them to Puan Idayati tomorrow or look them up in the World Wide Web when I get home. The lemuni is in the first picture. The second and fourth photographs of plants were taken in Puan Norriah's compound.
