TOILING IN THE GARDEN
Believe me when I tell you that Cikgu Shahidan was working in the Taman Herba from 9.00 a.m. until 1.40 p.m. today. Early in the morning, I noticed that he was already there after he had invigilated a class. When I went with Fydo to plant the wild herbs for the exhibition at half past nine, he was busy removing the circular enclosures for some of the plants and replacing them with brick ones. He was still busy replanting when Puan Idayati, Ustazah Roslina and I went there to look for more wild herbs at around 1.15 p.m. When Puan Kamariah called me to go for a meeting at around 1.40 p.m., he was still there. Wow! He must be really strong and tenacious to be able to work for so many hours under the sun. If I were to work for so long in the sun, I'd develop a "giant" migraine. All I could offer him was a bottle of isotonic drink to help quench his thirst. The above pictures were taken in the early morning and then later in the afternoon.
