The interview with my senior Rozila bt Abdullah was carried out in the school library around 2.30 p.m. on 16 April 2008 and it went well.
Rozila bt Abdullah from Selama, Perak, who was a former student of SM Teknik Seri Manjung passed her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) last year (2007). Rozila was studying in 4PKE and 5PKE when she was here. Her class teacher was Puan Nor Hamiza.
Rozila's mother who is a housewife is looking after the family using the SOCSO money after Rozila's father passed away a few years ago. She is the eldest of five siblings. She has two brothers and two sisters. Her class teacher and her friends encouraged her to be always hopeful and to keep on studying.
Rozila aims to be an architect. She studied together with her friends every night and they did revision and had discussions about difficult subjects. The teachers were also helpful. They gave extra classes throughout the year.
Now she is a part-time worker at a supermarket in Selama. She is working as a cashier so that she can keep some money to further her studies which is her plan for the future. She applied for architecture and hotel management in several universities. While waiting for her results, she will continue to work.
Lastly, Rozila hopes to achieve her dream so that she can support her family.
