THE MAKING OF A CORPORATE VIDEO

Today we were very fortunate to have Encik Nor Azman Shah bin Mohd. Yusoff from the Unit Penyiaran dan Teknikal, BTPN (Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan Negeri Perak) to come and guide us on how to produce a corporate video for our school. It was actually Encik Anuar who got Encik Azman to come and assist us after Ustaz Lotpi talked with him a couple of days ago about the above matter. I was informed by Encik Anuar that Encik Azman used to produce education programmes for Television Pendidikan Malaysian before being appointed as one of the assistant directors at BTPN in Ipoh.

As it is impossible to really teach us how to come up with such a video on our own in such a short time, Encik Azman provided us with short cuts to achieve our objective. Of course, he and the other PKG officers will lend us full assistance in terms of videotaping and editing.

I am not sure about the rest of the teachers who attended the session with him but for me I was rather impressed by his knowledge of film-making and also how he managed to arrange the segments so easily for us. Well, this I think boils down to his years of experience in the field. I learned quite a bit today and hope to learn more about how to get the video made.
