BUSINESS AS USUAL IN THE LIBRARY

The students visiting the library today are the regular ones and not the mass influx who had to come and do last minute studying during the examination period. The regulars will come to read the newpapers, magazines and also to read books in the afternoon.

As usual the librarians came to carry out their duties like wrapping the new books and helping to look for the serial numbers of the books. Since the SALC was in operation today, two of the Form 4 librarians went to man the room. Today the Form 4 boys can use the place. Up until today I have already chosen 6 Form 4 librarians, they are Saiful, Hanif, Hasib, Sharveen, Amin and Nazrin. I am still on the lookout for more. Those interested to become librarians can see Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin, Ustazah Roslina or me after the holidays.

Then the students also took turns to key in the data for our automated library management system. Those local students are requested to come back to the library for a day each to help key in the data for the system. The librarians would then inform Cik Siah what duties that they had carried out for the day and she would note that down in their cards plus the merit points due to them.
