At around going home time, Tuan Haji Hasnin and I had gone to the Manjung District Hospital to visit Puan Nor Hafizah bt Zakaria (one of the teachers in the English Language Department) who has been been hospitalised since yesterday afternoon. However, we went at 2.10 p.m. and were not allowed to enter as visiting hours were over. We were told to go at around 4.30 p.m.
When we returned to school after our failed attempt to visit Puan Hafizah, we saw that Puan Hajjah Salma was having problems starting her car. After checking her car, Tuan Haji Hasnin asked me to bring out the 'jumper' from my car boot to help jump start her car engine. In the meantime, Cik Siti Mariam's assistance was also sought. Tuan Haji Hasnin and Cikgu Sulaimi then did the necessary procedures to get the car started. Actually, it took less than a minute for the engine to start. Puan Salma was told that the battery was weak and she needed to go get it either charged or changed.
For your information, I went later to visit Puan Hafizah at the hospital. This time around I went with Sharveen. Puan Hafizah told me that she was diagnosed as having a viral infection and the hospital authorities suspect that there might also be some problems with her pancreas but they were still doing tests and nothing is confirmed. She is in Ward 6 of the Manjung District Hospital. If she is not discharged yet, I'll go again with Puan Kamariah Sulaiman and Puan Siti Kamariah to visit her tomorrow.
