BASIC REPORTING SKILLS

This afternoon, the participants of the Workshop for News Writing attended a session on Basic News Reporting and Writing Skills. The presenter was Encik Razak Hussein, a former Utusan Malaysia reporter. He had worked as a reporter for 22 years.

One interesting thing I learnt is that the word NEWS is actually the acronym of North East West and South. This symbolises that news covers information coming from all the four cardinal points.
