CIKGU JALALUDDIN'S GARDEN
I went to Jalal's house with Sharveen in the afternoon to get a roselle plant from his garden. Last year I got a similar plant from him to plant in our herb garden but the plant had since died but I did not managed to nurture new plants by planting the seeds. Besides the roselle plant, Cikgu Jalal also gave me a banana plant. Hopefully, the two plants will grow in our Herb Garden. Then I can make roselle drinks again for the students and teachers and Cik Siah can make banana fritters from them.
Immediately after we got the plants, Sharveen and I went back to school to plant them. Sharveen said that we should talk to the plants and they might grow to be strong and healthy. Well, if it works then I am game to try it. So next time if you happen to pass by the Herb Garden and see Miss Cheah talking to the plants - don't think that I have gone crazy. Okay?
