Botanical name: Brunfelsia pauciflora (B. calycina)

Plant family: Solanaceae
Type of plant: Evergreen shrub

We grow the YTT plant in our Herb Garden. The full name of the plant is actually Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Why is it so called? It is because when the flowers first open they are purple, then they turn pale lavender and finally white, and that is why yesterday-today-and-tomorrow is an aptly named little shrub.
