MAKING OUR DAY

Puan Kamariah and I met two of our former students while we were having a meal with Nurin at MacDonalds this evening. The girl, Safarina bt Zulkifli, was working there part-time. She had just completed her studies at a local university and was biding time before she reported for training as a Police Inspector at the Police Academy. The male student, Syed Mohd Izwan b Syed Abd Aziz, is working as a Quality Control Inspector at Kencana Holdings.
They were the ones who approached both Puan Kamariah and I, informing us that we once taught them. Well, as teachers we feel happy that both our students have done well in their studies and are working professional jobs. That has made my day and put a smile on my face. And that ladies and gentlemen is what happiness is about.
