OUR STUDENT WARDED FOR DENGUE FEVER

I went to the Ipoh General Hospital in the afternoon to visit one of our students, Azri bin Zamili, who was transferred from the Manjung Hospital in the morning. He is suffering from dengue fever. His mother, our Puan Khairiah bt Abidin, was in the Intensive Care Unit with him when I went. Puan Khairiah told me that Azri already received a transfusion of two packets of blood at the Manjung Hospital yesterday. According to the doctor whom I spoke to, his condition is not stable yet and could be considered critical. As far as I know, Azri is a strong boy and I am sure he will be able to beat the disease. In the meantime, let us all pray that he will make a quick recovery and Puan Khairiah and her family will get to celebrate Hari Raya back in Manjung.
