WRITE-UP ABOUT GUEST PRESENTER

Our guest presenter for the staff development course today was Encik Haim Hilman bin Abdullah. Quite a number of the teachers and staff in STESMA know him or who he is. Actually, there is one teacher in our school who knows him very, very well. She is none other than Puan Mazlinawati, his wife. They were married somewhere in March this year.

Encik Haim is a lecturer at University Utara Malaysia. He obtained his first and second degrees at the University of Portsmouth in England. Besides lecturing, he has written a book on Pengurusan Strategic or Strategic Management. A few of our teachers bought his book and asked him to sign it for them, as can be seen in the first two pictures.There is good news and bad news for me to report. The good news is that I heard that the couple are expecting their first child. The sad news is that Puan Mazlina has applied for a transfer to Kedah to be with her husband and so we will most probably not be seeing her next year.
