YEAR END DINNER FOR RESOURCE CENTRE COMMITTEE

By hook or by crook, Ustazah Roslina and I managed to organise the year end dinner for our resource centre committee this evening. Though both of us were very busy but somehow we managed to have a moderate jamuan for the librarians and the teachers in the committee.

I had also taken the opportunity to invite Cikgu Rosli Samot, Puan Khairiah Abidin and Puan Kamariah Sulaiman to join us. Though the three teachers were not in the library committee but they have been lending a hand with the library activities from the beginning of the year until now. Puan Khairiah and Cikgu Rosli are the ones that I usually ask to help choose the books for the library when the salesmen come a-calling. Besides, Puan Asiah and Cik Mah, Puan Kamariah would be another person I would ask to help cook for the bi-monthly jamuans for the librarians. Paying her to cook is much cheaper than getting the caterers. It is not that I want to take advantage of her goodwill but it is because that I don't have too much funds for the library and she is kind enough to help out.
