LAUNCH OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE WEEK 2009

The launching ceremony for this year's English Language Week was held at the school library. We decided to make it a simple ceremony with the presence of some teachers and some students of 5VE5 and 5JER. The master of ceremony for the occasion was Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin and he called upon the Head of the English Language Department, Puan Kamariah Sulaiman to give a short speech before the official launch.

After Puan Kamariah's speech, our Master Principal, Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim, was invited to officially launch the programme by cutting the ribbon to release a banner for the English Language Week.

There will be a Poetry Recital Competition, an essay writing competition, the Master Malaysia contest for teachers and students, Spell-it-right and K-Hunt throughout the week.
