GATH X-STESMA 2007

In his speech the vice president of the organising committee, Encik Arman Yadi, narrated how the gathering got to be held. It was actually from the STESMA.net site where ex-stesmarians got to keep in touch with each other that the idea for such a gathering was mooted. The organising committee took about three months to plan and prepare for it. They also met with Puan Siti Arfah and Encik Abdul Hakim to discuss the matter.

After all the hard work, this evening at around 4.45 p.m. the principal of STESMA, Puan Siti Arfah bt Ibrahim, officially declared the GATH X-STESMA 2007 open. After that the ex-students, teachers and present students were invited to tea by the master of ceremony. A telematch between the present and past students would be held in the school field.

Unfortunately, I could not be present for the rest of the day as I have to go back to Ipoh. I hope that the ex-students and the teachers who will attend the activities in the evening and night will have an enjoyable time. I will blog more tomorrow and post more pictures when I return from Ipoh tomorrow evening.
