SUPER IV

I went to support our Manjung players this morning at the Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh Stadium Complex. They are taking part in the Super IV Games which is held once every two years.

For your information, our Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin is the coach for the district badmintion team and his assistant is Mrs Wong. Tuan Haji Hasnin as usual has his hands in many pies and was

away in Cameron Highlands giving a course to the Mathematics and Science teachers. That course would only end today and he would only be able to join the team in Ipoh tomorrow morning. In the meantime, Mrs Wong is left to take charge of everything since the Manjung team manager, Encik Nordin, has been hospitalised.

When I was there, the singles and doubles players won four of the matches. So, it is good news. I'll be going again tomorrow to lend more support to the Manjung team. I might also go over to the Indera Mulia stadium where the basketball competition is being played. My friends from Nan Hwa, Mr Koh and Mr Ling are there with the players.
