REALLY CHUN

As I spent the whole day tidying up the library, I did not have much time to go around school to get news and photographs to blog about today. Also after school, I was in one workshop after another getting my car repaired.

Nevertheless, I would like to blog about Wu Chun today. I am sure by now many of you know that besides Rain, I like to watch Wu Chun act and sing. The picture I have posted above is of Chun and his late mother. The above picture was taken from a Nanyang Siang Pau article. The picture was taken in Australia about eight years ago when his mum visited him. She was suffering from stomach cancer then but did not let her son know. As I read his blog regularly, I really wanted to know how his mum looked like as he kept talking about her being his source of inspiration and mentioning the influence she had on him and still has on his life now. Anyway, I can see that Chun's mum was a very attractive lady and from his blogging, he must've been mummy's pet. Well, if I have a son like him, I'd love him to bits as well. You must be wondering what I find so fascinating about his blog right? Well, I am reproducing a post he did for mother's day on his blog below.
It’s Mother’s Day today!!! I still remember buying flowers and gifts for my mum when she was still alive! However, I never dared to give her directly because I was too shy… Funny, isn’t it? :) I really miss her a lot…A lot of people say I’m very optimistic in life and that I could bravely face my everyday challenges! Actually, sometimes, I felt scared and nervous too but it always is my mum who gave me the needed energy and drive for me to face everyday challenges! She made me know the importance to grab every chance that I may have and if I don’t succeed, its fine but I have to make sure that I always remember to do my very best and keep myself Healthy! Come to think of what a person I was 5 years ago, I really feel I have become very BRAVE now!Although I am not that lucky like many of you who still have a mother by your side, I do consider myself very FORTUNATE because I used to have such a ‘Great MUM’ like her! Believe me… To be a good mother is the greatest challenge a woman has to face in her whole life! As we don't know what will happen tomorrow/in the future, do cherish what you have now and give out your best to everyone who is close to you, ok? Here, I want to wish all mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day filled with lots of Joy, Wealth and most importantly HEALTH :-)
I think Chun's mum would really be proud of her son, Goh Kiat Chun (Wu Chun's name pronounced using Hokkien). The late Mrs Goh has given to this world such a fine young man. It is the entertainment world's gain to have an artiste like him. Netizens like me find joy in reading what he writes. Of course, he is very telegenic which makes it double the pleasure of going into his blog. By the way, he inherited his good looks mostly from his dad. Yeah, I saw a picture of his dad when he was young on the web and believe me, Chun has inherited almost 80% of his dad's looks. His parents had foresight in naming him Chun as in Malay it means good looking.
